AI will change every customer experience, Monogo E-commerce News, 53
It is difficult to explain how exactly AI works. Some argue that no one can do it. But the world's biggest companies are investing skyrocketing amounts of money in developing the technology. It is an arms race of sorts.
By providing models and APIs to communicate with them, even businesses without huge budgets can start to enjoy the benefits of artificial intelligence in their online shops.
AI in e-commerce
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of AI or machine learning in an e-commerce UX context is recommendations. Zoho Catalyst, for example, explicitly says that their solution of pre-trained models will fit perfectly into a recommendation engine for basically any shop.
Another example of using AI in e-commerce could be connecting a customer service chat bot. There is a chance that some customers, will get answers to their questions. This is especially important when a customer tries to contact us outside of business hours.
Undoubtedly, all signs point to the growing relevance of artificial intelligence. The sooner we jump on this train, the sooner we will know where it is taking us.
