Letter to Santa

Just before Santa Claus, which, as every year, falls on the 6th of December, the 4th is International Santa's List Day. A good opportunity to ask a few customers for such a letter, which they agree to publish on your shop.

Of course, it's worth rewarding them. And in return, you will receive content created by your customers. What's more, this year you can start a great tradition that activates your regular customers. Instead of, or in addition to, writing a letter to Santa, they can write to you.

What does artificial intelligence "think"?

AI has taken over public opinion this year. So why not use pieces of content prepared by artificial intelligence to make your customers curious?

Literally a moment spent with Chat GPT and for our business partner I got this short content:
In Poland, popular Converse sneaker models include the classic Chuck Taylor All Star in both low-top and high-top versions. Additionally, Converse One Star and Converse Jack Purcell models are also well-liked by sneaker enthusiasts in Poland. These models are known for their timeless design and versatility. Ultimately, personal style preferences can vary, so it's best to choose the Converse sneakers that you find most appealing and comfortable..
Do Converse shop customers agree with AI? I don't know, but December might be a great time to find out!

Retrospective

For 11 months in your e-commerce business, it's been simmering with the number of customers and orders (I hope!). Why not pull out some data and share what's been popular with shoppers?

It's a good opportunity to prepare special December promotions and content talking about what customers' tastes were in 2023. Depending on your industry, you could show what trends you had, or how shopping preferences have changed over the months. These are just some of the ideas you can use to create content for December.

With Google Analytics data, you're sure to have more inspiration!

Look to the future

December is the time when, in e-commerce, you can slowly stop looking ahead to 2023 and start looking ahead to January and the whole new year. Anticipating buying preferences or discovering needs can be done on your own, or again in dialogue with your customers.

What might they need? What innovations do they expect? How will trends change? You can use these and many other questions as inspiration for articles, campaigns or even a series of content related to the new year. Let your imagination run wild, and check back next year to see if you have successfully predicted the future!

Something for you!

Before Christmas, we think of loved ones - and very well, you should think of those you love. However, why, for a moment, not also focus on ourselves. For those who have already bought from your online shop during this period, why not send out personalised mailings where you select something that matches the items you bought in November?

Or why not do a customer survey where, after answering a bunch of uncomplicated questions, you suggest what products from your online range they might be interested in? As a way of getting along, why not!
